Looking at Peachtree Road

The official name for this station was changed a few years ago to "Brookhaven-Oglethorpe University" station. This is absurd because Oglethorpe University is at least a mile or 2 away from the station. MARTA has a tendency to occasionally name stations in a way they imagine that will "attract" visitors (at least that's what I guess). The "Civic Center" station is another example, since the Civic Center is at least 4 blocks from the station.

Waffle House - My breakfast 24 August 2003
Why the Waffle House pix? Because the Waffle House is right next to the station and the reason I rode up to this station was to eat breakfast. After all, the name of this page is "Brookhaven Station & area".
