The 8th Floor Nautilus Archive, Library and Portal
. . . started out as the books, music, videos, etc., shelved, crated, filed, or otherwise physically contained in the various locations of the 8th Floor library/archives/etc.
. . . and has been expanded to include files legally downloaded to our digital library.
The
8th floor/nautilus_library profile on LibraryThing.com is under construction.
If an item in the Digital Library is in the public domain, you can read/see it by clicking the link to it in the comments field. To see the comments field, go to the top of any catalog page, at the right, where it says "nautilus_library has a suggested style for viewing this library (use it)". Click on "use it".
If the item is copyrighted, the only link in the comments field is to the original source web page.
As LibraryThing notes, it "is a cataloging and social networking site for book lovers. We do not buy, sell, lend or have the capability to download books on our site." Links in the comments field take you out of LibraryThing and to the document's source site or the 8th floor/nautilus_library digital library, as appropriate (see above paragraph).
